The Happipreneur – Why MicroBizMatters
Born out of two years of planning, this generation’s “Small is Beautiful” looks at why, now more than ever, it’s important to not only do something you love but do it without tying yourself to debt or get sucked into false opportunities.
This biographical account of Tony’s life looks at the way in which he has gone from riches to rags to happiness. In the book he shares his passion for micro-business and the way in which business owners can thrive, whilst avoiding the beartraps he’s encountered along the way.
The book has a foreword by Tim Campbell MBE, the first The Apprentice Winner, and features many famous entrepreneurs that Tony has worked with. For example, Sir Jim Ratcliffe was a classmate, Lord Sugar was a client and Dick De Vos was his boss when Tony was CEO of Amway UK. Betsy De Vos is Donald Trump’s Secretary of State for Education.
The book contains the Small is Beautiful Roll of Honour and #MicroBizMatters Hall of Fame, both lists of companies and individuals committed to Schumacher’s values and Robinson’s #PayIn30Days.
Tony Robinson OBE is the Micro Business Champion, an award winning author and speaker on enterprise.
Tony is the Co-Founder of the annual #MicroBizMatters Day (the fourth takes place on January 12th 2018) & Enterprise Rockers CIC, a massive global, self help movement of micro enterprise owners. He received the OBE for services to small firms and training in 2001, the IAB Lifetime Achievement Award for Enterprise in 2012 and Start Your Business Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.
Tony has written eight books to date, both fiction and non fiction. His best known and most popular book is a fictional satire – ‘Freedom from Bosses Forever’ which is now available as an audio book.
We highly recommend Tony for not only his amazing knowledge of entrepreneural matters but also his creative passion and writing.
